A Different Bed Every Time by Jac Jemc

A collection of short stories written by a poet at heart. This book contains a collection of stories follows characters who experience pain and grief. They're unconnected snippets of individual stories.

There were a few stories in this collection that I truly enjoyed and wished were longer. Many of them were uninteresting and slow. If you approach this as you would a poetry book, you'll enjoy it more. The language is well done and flows. Don't look to fall in love with the characters, that will only disappoint you.

If I had to rate this one, I'd go with three smiles. Remember, I'm a poet and poetry fan. It would likely be lower for someone who wasn't.

Note for Parents/Teachers: There are some stories here that contain violence and or adult situations. Be wary of handing it to an immature reader.
